To introduce and give practice in vocabulary related to Human Life Cycle
To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of age & stages of life.
Procedure (35-45 minutes)
T will ask Discussion starter Questions Are birthdays, important? Do you like celebrating your birthday? etc
T will show some pictures one by one, stick on board, ask SS how old you think each person is? And write answers under every picture.T will write life stages in mixed-up order and ask Ss to rearrange them in typical chronological order. T will check answers with w/c.
Ss will make sentences using bold words about people they know. Later will discuss with their partners. T will monitor and help if needed.
T will ask Ss what characteristic are typical of the different age groups. T will elicit few ideas and write them under the picture. If Ss they don’t know about any word T will explain. After Ss will be involved in group discussion about different characteristic of different age groups. T will take w/c feedback. T will ask Ss write about advantages & disadvantages of different ages. Elicit few ideas and then Ss will work alone and discuss their findings in Group. Finally, T will general FB from the whole class
