Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

* I will ask the students some questions using the slide show via Power point: _Are you a social person? _Do you have a lot of people around? _What kind of people do you have? _Would you rather to have just one friend or more ?why? * I will ask them to discuss in pairs about " the besty person do you have ? why?

Test #1 (2-3 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

* The student will read the words in the box and I will ask them to check the meaning of the difficult words by using the dictionary in , then write these words in the table below. * demonstrate the first one . * discuss their answers in pairs . * check the answers with them * I will ask them if they have extra words to be added in its category , like ( mother ,brother , sister ,uncle ...etc . *demonstrate the first word in case I will not find any answers.

Teach (7-10 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

*Hand out the text to the students and ask them to read the text individually. *I will ask them to discuss in pairs the highlighted words that might be difficult to them by guessing. * Elicit the meaning from them even if they give the wrong answers. * Ask CCQs *Drill the words. *write on the board

Test #2 (5-7 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

*Hand them out a task and ask them to listen to eight instructions and write their answers in the eight squares they have on the paper. * I will ask them in pairs to exchange their papers and ask his partner some questions about what he has written on every square to find out the meaning of the names and numbers. * Demonstrate one example or two before they do the activity in pairs. * monitoring their discussions * Discuss their answers and giving feedback.

Free practice (3-5 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

* I will ask the students to open their phones and pick up three pictures of people they know and talk about them to his friend . * monitor their discussion * feedback
