T -Nominate one Ss to answer to check understanding and model for others Ss to BOR if large group, or full class Ss discuss among themselves (1-2min) If Ss to BOR report on partner's response to class/If full class discussion give a bit more time for each Ss to speak.

Presentation through the text (6-8 minutes) • To provide the students with reading task to focus on the general idea of the text (a conversation about attending a sports match) while being exposed to the target language.sports match.

T shares Jam board p1 showing a picture of two friends and a picture of a full football stadium. T intro: You will read a conversation between two friends, Anna and Robert. They are talking about going to a football match. T shows a ?? with the question "Does Robert want to go to the football match? Why or why not?" "You have 3 minutes to read the conversation to yourself and answer the questions" If BOR - Ss have 2 mins to discuss their answers with their partners and report in OCFB If small group - Ss discuss among themselves for 3 mins then T asks for answers and justification from text.

Clarification (11-12 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language - collocations of adjective +

First focus is on eliciting meaning using sentences from the conversation text and CCQs as a tool for guided discovery learning. T Screen shares Google slide focusing on four pair of words (full of, good at, bad at, afraid of) in sentences from the conversation text and CCQs T reads CCQs and demos first CCQ then shares link Ss in BORs (or among themselves with full class if small) collaborate to agree on answers (2mins) Ss report answers in OCFB providing justification. Ss work individually, use chat box to check answers Ss report to class Cloze exercise filling in the correct prepositions 2 exercises. T explains and demonstrates first sentence with Ss. T tells Ss; Interview your partner using the following questions: What are you good at? What are you bad at? What are you afraid of? What do you wish your house was full of? Share link Partners - answer using the words we have been working with(5 min) OCFB Ss report on their partners' answers. T monitors for common errors while observing BORs and in OCFB T writes error on Zoom board, elicits corrections from Ss, supplies clarification if needed.
