Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I 'll stick five photos of famous people on the board and ask the students to tell me What's their jobs?

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

_I 'll give the Ss a matching task. _Match the word with it's meaning. _Demonstrate the first one with them. _Ask them to work alone first. _Then check in pairs and give them feedback. _I'll write on the board the word (Teacher) and I ''ll pronounce the word in British English./ˈtiːtʃə/. _ Then I 'll ask the students what happened at the end of the word? _To elicit (drop letter (R). So it is called ( /ə/ ) in British English. Also we have another word (writer) _Then I 'll ask the students "Do you have any examples?" To elicit words such as (doctor _ singer _ driver).

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

Ex (a) _I will tell the students that "These questions are asked for Wayne about his job and her wife job. _ I want you to listen to the audio. _ Write (W) next to the questions for Wayne _Write (T) next to the questions for Tanya. _ So Are you going to listen only? _Which letter should write next to Tanya's questions ? _Which letter should write next to Wanye's questions? _ Play the audio _ Ask them" if they want to listen again?" _ Ask them to check in pairs. _Feedback. _ Ex (b) _ I will ask the students to look at Wanye's answers. _ Listen to the audio and write (yes),(no)or (D) depends. _So Are you going to listen only or write (yes,no,d)?. _ So listen carefully. _Play the audio again if they need. _Ask them to check in pairs. _Feed back.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

Ex (c) _ I will ask Ss in pairs to look at the questions and the answers . _Give them three minutes to guess Wanye's and Tanya's jobs? _So "Are you going to work alone or in pairs?". _But don't tell them if they're right or wrong. Ex(d) _Ask them to listen to the end of the programme to know what do Wayne and his wife do?

Post-Reading/Listening (12-15 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

_ I will ask the students "What's your dream job?" . _Ask them to discuss with their partner . _After finishing I will listen to their answers. "Time to play" _I 'll ask the Ss "Are you ready to play" _ These are some jobs in these cards. _Each one of you will take a card of job. _you will not tell any body about the job in your card. _you have to describe the job to your partner by using only two words. _your partner try to guess What's the job? by asking you (yes or no) questions. _So "Are you going to tell your partner about the job?" _How many words will you use to describe your job?. _"Are you going to use (Wh) questions?"or (Yes or No) questions.
