text work (3 minutes) • to expose sentences to Ss

T share screen and show students sentences and ask them to read them, T provide observation form on google forms and give instructions to Ss. Ss to check answers on the private chat.

language clarification (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with meaning, form and pronunciation

T clarify meaning by showing google form and give students instructions to read the definitions and match with the correct phrasal verb. T to show Ss the context, to use . T divides Ss to break out rooms for PW. * T use power point presentation to clarify form T asks CCQ phrasal verbs are made up of single word? no phrasal verbs are only made up from only verb + adverb ? no phrasal verbs form of verb + adverb or preposition? yes T to clarify word stress and linking words T asks Ss to repeat pronunciation

controlled practice (3-4 minutes) • to check Ss understand TL.

T show Ss google form and give instructions to Ss to change the sentence using separable multiword verbs if possible. Ss to check answers via private chat.

free practice (4-5 minutes) • to practice speaking using multiword verbs through context of urban legend

T to share screen and gives instructions to Ss to read the text in 2 mins and use breakout rooms for discussion. Ss to tell partner about 2 urban legends in his/her culture using multiword verbs within 3 mins.

conduct feed back (2-3 minutes) • to give feed back on speaking task

T to give Ss feed back if recognized speaking errors
