In this lesson, I will explain the main rules of writing and the layout of the complain letter through process writing.

Main Aims

  • To provide process writing practice of a letter of complain in the context of Newtown Sports Centre

Subsidiary Aims

Warmer/Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will ask the students a question if they have ever complained because something they bought was defective.

Exposure (12-14 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

In this part, I will explain the layout and things they have to write and I will give them a sample to read and check the things that there was explained to them. after that, I will give them reding to put the ideas in order.

Useful Language (14-20 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

I will give the student some of the useful words and phrases that might come handy in this type of writing and some other rules such as punctuation, paragraphing

Productive Task(s) (13-17 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

the students will be given writing with some gapes to fill out with information that they want to

Feedback and Error Correction (15-20 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

we will have post feedback I would ask the students to write a writing and give to their friend to check and after that, we would check it in class together.
