Main Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation about happniess in the context of track about persons and what make them feel happy
  • To provide specific information, detailed and gist listening practice using a text about conversation about happniess in the context of track about persons and what make them feel happy

Subsidiary Aims

  • by the end of the lesson,students will speak with each other about what make them feel happy by using new vocublary easily
  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a conversation in the context of happniess

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

1-Greet ss and tell them my name. 2-Tell them what makes me happy. 3-Ask students to work in pairs and tell each other what make them feel happy. 4-listen to some ideas from ss.

Pre-Listening (5-7 minutes) • To prepare students for the track and explain some difficult words

1-Elicit and teach some new difficult words. 2-ask them to complete some sentences with thier suitable vocublary individually and check answers in pairs 3-Ask students to have a look at the three pictures for the listening task and let them try to guess what make these persons fell happy

While-Listening #1 (5-7 minutes) • to provide students with a listening track and guess gist information

1-Ask students to listen to the track 2-Ask them to answer the questions in the pre listening stage individually and check answers in pairs 3-nominate for feedback

While-Listening #2 (7-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference listening tasks

1- Ask students to read som questions 2-check ICQS: 1-which are you doing first reading the questions or listening the track ? 2-How long do you have for this task? 3-How many questions will you answers? 3-Ask the students to answer the questions individually and check in pairs 4-nominate for feedback

Post-Listening (5-7 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to speaking more time about the main idea and expand they've learned

1-Ask students to draw a circle and write three things that make them happy and discuss with thier partener 2-Get some ideas from the students 3-Tell them about what we took in the lesson
