Procedure (43-55 minutes)
presenting some questions that help in creating the context and prepare the learners to main theme of the lesson.They can help ss to use ( used to and would) when they answer them.so, the ss can brainstorm a lot of ideas relate the subject and use the target language effectively.
asking the ss answer some questions using (used to and would ) to talk about their memorable teachers with a general review of the basic rules.Also, presenting the adjectives intensifiers with some model language.
introducing the adjectives intensifiers with some examples and giving the learners a good idea about their definition , form and meaning .Finally, provide the ss with a short exercise just to make sure that they can identify the adjective and its intensifier in each sentience .
presenting an exercise ( fill in gaps) which contains many sentences and asking the learners to fill in with correct intensifier can do it individually at first then in pairs for peer teaching purpose. finally, they will get feedback.
It is fun time , the ss will have a chance to solve some sentences related to target language using "Kahoot!" game.
presenting a Discussion and give them an opportunity to practice the language freely discussing a current issue that the whole globe suffers from , using the following questions and instructions.The ss can do this exercise in group work .Finally, they will get feedback. -The climate change and its potential effects on the globe in the future . -describe the weather in the past & the current weather changes. -Try to compare them using (would and used to ). -Use as much intensifiers as possible.
