Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T says hello to students, shares screen, goes to first slide on presentation and introduces themselves. T goes to second slide and introduces their living situation by saying "I live with my family and my pets" while pointing at the relevant pictures.

Pre-Listening (5-6 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T goes to next slide and adds "in a big house with a beautiful garden" T goes to next slide and elicits TL by saying "but I want to live here. What is this?" T goes to next slide and adds "I want to visit this place. What is this place?” “Where in the city is it?” T goes to next slide and elicits form and pronunciation from Ss. T summarizes: "we just went of the meaning, pronunciation, and form of these words so now you can use them correctly"

While-Listening for gist (4-5 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist listening task

T says "I'm going to play an audio now please listen" T plays audio. T sends link (https://forms.gle/H29qp7pgCavJvBJX8) in chat-box. T instructs: "Open the link I sent in chat-box, answer the question and submit, you have 1 minute, go" T waits for Ss to submit and goes over answer quickly, praising Ss.

While-Listening for detail (9-11 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detail listening task

T says "I'm going to play more audio now, this is longer, there are going to be three people talking one after the other, listen closely" T plays audio. T sends link (https://forms.gle/5oyKHH8G3YBgcVTQ8) in chat-box. T instructs: "I sent another link, open it, you have 5 minutes to answer the questions but don't click submit" T waits for 5 minutes then instructs: "now compare your answers in chat-box with your partner" T assigns partners "you have 2 minutes" T waits for Ss to submit answers, then shares screen to go over answers

Post- Productive task (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T moves to next slide and instructs: "using these words write down 3-4 sentences about where you work or live, you have 3 minutes" T asks ICQ "(name) what do I want you to do?" "you can start" T waits 3 minutes then says "Okay, I'm sending you to breakout rooms. Discuss with your partner what you wrote down. You have 5 minutes." T observes Ss and takes notes. T brings Ss back to main room, shares their screen and does feedback and DEC. T ends lesson by thanking students.
