Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T greets Ss. T poses an open question to Ss: "What's your favorite season?" T poses extension: "What do you like to do during ______?"

Content Preparation (5-7 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Open padlet link and share screen with Ss: https://padlet.com/contrerasrosie761/ksrpc9u93a76smez T poses instructions: "Now go to this link and look at each picture. Write what each picture makes you think of as a comment. This can be a season, weather, or activities. Feel free to use Google. You have 4 minutes." T demonstrates by writing various words associated with the pictures.

Language Preparation (5-7 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

T opens link shares screen: https://forms.gle/RekffuCupMKTk2aY6 Provide the following directions: "Answer the following questions. They are all based on your personal experiences and preferences. You have 5 minutes." T demonstrates first one or two questions.

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

T gives next instructions: "Next, you will be speaking with each other for 15 minutes about the weather. What do you like and dislike? Which seasons do you like and dislike? Why? I've written some suggestions on a jamboard of questions and phrases to use. Try to explain your answers in detail." After 15 minutes, T closes rooms and we discuss the questions and answers as a class. T nominates some Ss to share what they learned about their partner.

Feedback and Error Correction (6-8 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

T makes notes during the productive task and uses OCFB to point out things the Ss did well. Also a time to do Delayed Error Correction.
