Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

To introduce the topic .T will project instructions and pictures of 4 books on jam board. Ss will ask their partners information about the four books . What do you know about these four books? Ss students will have 3 minutes to practice in the Breakoutrooms. After T will nominate ss and ask them " what can you tell me about these books " and elicit answers.

Text work (intensive task) (8-10 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target languaget and identify it

Ss will listen to 3 speakers talking about 3 books. Ss will listen and match expressions of likes and dislikes with the name of the speakers. After the T will say “ that there are some expressions (TL) in the conversation that ss need to look at and they have to identify them. Students will and answer the questions individually. (on Google Forms) Teacher gives OCFB.

Clarification (10-12 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

T will show 3 phrases for likes and dislikes on Google Docs, use CCQs to clarify the meaning of the phrases and identify which phrases express stronger emotions and which are less direct. For pronunciation, Ss will Identify the main stress of the words in the questions and attitudinal intonation. T will demo the first sentence. 1 I'm a big fan of Leo Messi. 2 I´m not a big fan of Harry Potter 3 I can't stand watching romantic movies.

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Students will have to rewrite sentences using the TG on Google Forms Ss will work individually and when ss finish, they will check their answers in pairs. (via private messages on the chatbox) . T will demo and example. T gives OCFB.

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Ss will have two role-playings with situations where they have to use the TL. 1 You are going to watch a movie on Netflix with your friend, but you can´t decide which movie to watch? T will encourage them to use phrases to express likes and dislikes: I'm a big fan of...What I really liked about...I don't really like…. I can´t stand, I´m not a big fan of.... When Ss finish the first role-playing, they will start with second 2 You and your boss are going to have lunch together. You can´t decide which restaurant to go to.
