Controlled Practice (10-12 minutes) • Productive controlled practice of collocations about daily routines

I will provide students with a google forms link where they will have to fill in the blanks from the text. It is multiple choice so students have to choose the correct answer for each question. Students complete this individually then discuss their answers with each other in private chat. We then feedback the correct answers as a class. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfn6C1XLPNnDiESje26eAfgiGffNhCEVugcU5j35lTqYiTKXw/viewform

Freer Practice and DEC (10-12 minutes) • For learners to use the language fluently

Students discuss in groups the following questions in breakout rooms: 1. Which advice do you think is the most useful and why? (from the text) 2. Can you think of any other ways to to get to sleep and/or wake up early? After dsicussing in groups we have a group discussion where students feedback their answers. DEC- Over the lesson I will be listening to students closely to any common mistakes.
