Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Through the use of the exercise provided via the students' workbook Breakout Rooms (1-2 mins) Feedback (1-2 mins)

Exposure (7-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Here I would ask the students to complete a GIST task, where students would be asked to summarise what the text is referring to. Breakout Rooms (1-2 mins) Feedback (1-2 mins)

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Use of CCQs, and pictures to try and elicit understanding. Question for students about 'Form' e.g. is it a verb/noun? Pronunciation drills

Controlled Practice (10-15 minutes) • Develop students skill of reading by using detailed tasks

I would use detailed tasks like comprehension questions to get the students to extract specific information pertaining to the text. Breakout Rooms (1-2 mins) Feedback (1-2 mins)

Free Practice (5-6 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language
