Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

After greeting the students,T will open up with a question about watching movies that are based on true story. Then T asks the students if they would like to be able to watch movies without subtitles. After that, T would check if anyone had tried that before. Finally, T will encourage them to do so.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

First, T will ask Ss if they watched the movie. If anyone did, T would ask for his/her opinion. If no one did, then T will check if Ss are interested after giving the background information about it. T Checks if Ss understood then ask if they are ready.

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

T shares the audio with Ss and do the tasks together.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

T shares audio with Ss and let them do and discuss the tasks that are placed in the SB in groups.

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

T checks if everybody understood and if Ss have any questions. Then T asks for Ss opinion on the topic and the procedure, whether they liked it or not.
