Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-4 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

- The teacher asks the students to look at the picture and answer the questions. - The teacher takes feedback from a few students.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

- The teacher asks the students to find the highlighted words in the text and decide what or who they refer to in exercise A. - The teacher asks the students to work in pairs. - The teacher takes feedback.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

- The teacher asks the students to read the examples and complete the rules in exercise B. - The teacher takes feedback.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

- The teacher draws the students' attention to the pronunciation of some pronouns her/them. - The teacher displays the 2 lists of the subject and object pronouns. - The teacher asks the students to memorize the 2 lists. - The teacher asks CCQS : Is the ring singular or plural?
