  • Introducing the students some new vocabulary and practice these vocabulary through eliciting

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To introduce the topic of the lesson

-T greets students - T asks Ss if they like Britain

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the article and to present blocking vocabulary

- T explains what does the word "foreigner" mean - T tells students this is an article about foreigners who express their ideas about UK - T makes sure Sts understand what they have to do before reading

While-Reading (10-12 minutes) • To provide students aid

- T Engages Ss in a pair work - T monitors Ss silently

Post-Reading (8-10 minutes) • To provide Ss with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

part 1 - Ss try to answer exercise A first in pairs - T monitors Ss in breakout rooms -T checks Ss answers Part 2 Exercise B,C - Ss read the article silently (individually) - T checks Ss answers - In exercise 5, T asks students to have a conversation in pairs
