TP 1 Reading
For the Ss to practice reading for gist and detailed information .
For the students to practice speaking activity about the different stages of age .
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
To set the contest of the lesson, the teacher will introduce some pictures about different stages of age and ask some questions to generate the interest in the lesson.
The teacher will ask some questions and make a discussion related to the context of the lesson to prepare the students for the text and make it accessible.
The teacher provides the Ss with less challenging gist tasks. They read for the main ideas of the lesson. Next, Ss check their answers in pairs or groups, Finally ,the teaches discuss and give Feedback .
To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading tasks The Ss read silently and try to do the exercises. Next, they check with their peers. Finally, discussion and feedback are introduced by the T.
To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned . For example the Ss carry out a discussion about the different stages of age and the characteristic of each age .
