Procedure

Lead in (3-5 minutes) • To generate interest in the topic of the lesson

-T greets the students -T ask some questions like when was the last time you went traveling? where did you go? what did you pack?

Expand context (8-10 minutes) • To provide a clear situation to present/elicit TL

-T shows slide pg 2 3 4 5 and try to elicit each item in the photos -T drills the words that are challenging, specially focuse on compass, wellies, torch,insect repellent and wet wipes.

Focus on meaning (6-8 minutes) • To check Ls understand the TL for meaning

-T shows slide pg 6 and ask Ss to do the practice by themselves -T check the answers -T praises and provide support if needed.

Focus on phonology (8-10 minutes) • To provide clarification of the pronunciation of the TL

-T shows slide pg 7 -T keep the students focus on phonology

Practice (10-15 minutes) • To provide practice of the TL using the same / similar situation

first -T shows slide pg 8 and ask them to describe different items in pairs or groups second -T shows slide pg -T models the game -T put students in pairs or groups so they can play -T monitors, praises and provide support if needed
