-T greets Ss -T starts the class by asking questions to engage the Ss for the coming game: are you a good lair? (Ss answer with Y/N) why? can you tell me a lie? -T based on the number of Ss try to ask every one if there is time

Useful Language (5-8 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

-T elicit a sentence with present perfect structure with telling them a story: yesterday I went out with my Friend , we were soused to go to the modern art museum at around 11:30 a.m , but the night before that i had an early dinner with my family and because I woke up a little late that morning i couldn't have breakfast . so when i left my house i was really hungry and i just went past my favorite restaurant that's when i decided to have lunch before meeting her . and by the time we were finished visiting the museum it was 2 p.m. and she told me she's hungry and wanted lunch but i was still full so i told her "I have eaten lunch already" -T elicit the last sentence and put the focus on the structure which is Present Perfect pronoun + have/has + past participle

Preparation (8-10 minutes) • To give students time to prepare ideas on the topic

-T models the game preferably with a strong students and explain the game there is a question sheet and it's slide that T shows on the screen, on question sheet there is a verb + an activity/sth which student must use to form a present perfect question and a present perfect answer , in this session T make sure Ss answer the first Question with a yes answer and then there is 3 follow up question and Ss must convince each other that they have done that even if they haven't . and then the others decide if student who is answering at the moment is telling the truth by showing a thumbs up or if they're lying by showing their point finger and thumb like the letter L . and then the student reveal their true answer . teacher keeps the record here to choose a winner at the end which is who is the best liar. -T also explain how the game is done in a face to face class which is explained in the Cutting Edge intermediate resource book page 99 game 4A -T gives Ss time to think about each item on question sheet

Productive Task(s) (20-30 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

in a face to face class this game is played in pairs and with cards but in an online class it might be more efficient if they all do it together . so each student must at least get one chance to speak about one item on question sheet -T monitors the game and keep score -T praise the Ss and provide support and feedback if needed
