Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

.Elicit the context which is achievements through a story .Go through present perfect by showing the form

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

.Ask SS to read the text ignoring the gaps. .Ask why Toby's achievement is surprising? .Put SS in pairs to fill in the gaps .Show answer keys.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language
