-show the Ss a picture of a birthday party and ask them to describe it. -Ask the Ss some questions. e.g "what do you take when you go to a birthday party?" , "where do you buy a gift or a present?'' and ''what are the things that you like to buy?".

Pre-teaching vocabulary (3-5 minutes) • To provide the Ls with the new vocabulary the context.

-Give the students HO and ask them to match the words to the right pictures and give them the time to answer alone. -Then, ask the Ss to check their answers in pairs. -After that, check the answers as the whole class and drill the pronunciation if it is necessary.

Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

-Tell the Ss that they are going to watch a video and ask them to describe this place, and tell me what the woman buys from this place.

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

-Give the Ss the Gap-fill handout and ask them to try to guess the missing words as a way to elicit the answers from them. -Then, ask them to watch the video this time carefully to check their answers about the missing words, after that ask them to check their answers in pairs and share the answers with the whole class. -Use the written dialogue to ask the Ss some questions to elicit the meaning of the functional language in the context: ''can I help you?" , "How much is that T-shirt?" , ''Can I have a big mug, please?". -Clarify the difference between using "Have got" in British English and ''Have'' in American English. Clarify that by highlighting the question in the dialogue and ask them to put another question equal to it as a way to elicit the answer to clarify this difference.
