Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I'm going to ask the students CCQS related to the context and discuss them with Ss for example: " Do you have a friend in any other country?". " How do you communicate with each other?" To elicit the answer ( through messages and emails )

Exposure (7-8 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening

Now we are going to read Rosa's email.She sent an email to a friend from another country . Where is she from ? can you take a look to tell me where is she from ? I want you to read this email and match the Rosa's information with these questions. , Demonstrate first 1- My name's Rosa . The question is ( What's your name ? )

Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

I'm going to write an email to a friend So Is it going to be informal or formal email? To elicit the answer .. informal Ask them How can I start the email ? What should I write first ? and elicit the answer Can you tell me other ways that we can start the email ? We can say hi / Hello Is it informal when we say Dear or Sir ? After that How can I end the email ? we can write please write soon or I'm waiting for your replay . Now who are you going ti tell me what is the difference between email and the letter ?

Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Now, We are going to write a similar email Who are you going to write an email to?

Feedback and Error Correction (4-7 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language

After finishing the email I will ask them to swap their email to each other and correct the mistakes.
