Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T bring real objects to class and tell a story about herself.

Test #1 (8-10 minutes) • To gauge students' prior knowledge of the target language

T show real object and elicit from students what they already know

Teach (15-20 minutes) • To clarify areas of the target language where students had difficulty in the first test stage

T show photocopy of every day objects to Ls .MPF

Test #2 (8-10 minutes) • Check students' use of the target language again and compare with the first test

T ask Ls 'which things are in your bag ask your partner'

Free practice (13-15 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

T provide Ls matching vocabularies with their meaning. T ask Ls in their group match pictures with their definitions for freer practice
