Procedure (39-52 minutes)
The teacher tries to engage all the students and to energize them in the classroom.
The teacher writes on the board the students' sentences, asks them about the tenses used and elicits the grammatical part.
Through an exercise, the teacher introduces the grammatical aspect in an attempt to elicit the rules that will be explained later.
The students do extra exercises to test the global understanding and practice the rules before he checks the answers and gives feedback.
The teacher shows the pronunciation rules , checks the understanding and gives feedback.
The teacher finishes the lesson with a speaking activity ,where students practice using the past simple and the past continuous.
