Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

in teacher will ask students if they like to travel or not and what about their favourite places to travel to and elicit ideas and vocabularies

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

As checking the meaning for the words in exercise 1 teacher will do a matching exercise for the definition for natural wonders, ancient archaeological sites, monuments, modern cities and beautiful beaches and coastlines as he will tell them to work in a group and assign a leader and the group leader after brainstorming will do the matching Teacher will ask students to recognize which one from text represents each sentence in exercise 1 and then check their answers to familiarize students with the text and

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

At exercise 2 teacher will ask students to read the text quickly as reading for gist and solve a and b in the exercise and students check in pairs and then he will ask students about the answer as exercise a is very clear as they will be already familiar with it from exercise 1 and b are an open questions so teacher will ask each student separately

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

Teaching vocab : teacher will do an exercise to make the students more familiar with the vocab part and as they are a small group and also to include technology to change the atmosphere in the class and enhance working in a group skill so teacher will arrange a matching exercise for the students then he will hold cards for each word and do the drilling part and make sure he includes the pronunciation and also he will use ccq’s to make sure they understand it

Post-Reading/Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

Teacher will ask students to read the text carefully as they will do exercise and then they check in pairs and teacher will give students feedback Teacher will ask students to read the text one more time and answer questions in exercise 4 and he will ask each pair about their partners answer
