Main Aims

  • To provide accuracy for ss to speak and ask questions about thier daily routine through some exercises about thier daily routine

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide clarification of daily routine activities

Procedure

Lead in (2-4 minutes) • To generate interest in the topic

Teacher will ask Ss about the best part of their day and elicit the answer from them and also asking about the time before and after it

Set the context (3-4 minutes) • To make Ss familiar with the topic

Teacher will play a video about daily routine of two kids and tell the Ss to listen to what they do during their day

Exercise (2-4 minutes) • To check if they understand the video

Teacher will ask the Ss to tick the activities they saw in the video as giving them an exercise

Pre-teaching (4-5 minutes) • To make Ss familiar with the 24h clock

Teacher will chest a 24h clock and explain what does 13 in the clock mean then give them a matching exercise for it then ask a question in general to check their understanding

Practice (5-6 minutes) • To make Ss familiar with the topic

Teacher will give Ss a picture of a 24h clock and ask them to match the activities from exercise 1 to the clock according to their own daily routine and then he will ask Ss to check the answer as a group after standing up and mingle

Pre-teaching (5-7 minutes) • To teach students how to make questions

Teacher will explain in the board how to make questions about time and activities

Speaking (5-6 minutes) • To speak

Ss will use the clock in exercise 2 and work as a group to ask each other and teacher will ask each student to tell him something about another student

Pre-teaching (2-4 minutes) • Giving Ss useful language to speak with

Teacher will give Ss some useful language to speak with like follow up questions

Speaking (4-5 minutes)

Teacher will give Ss cards of some pics of activities and divide them in pairs and ask them to to write a question about each photo then ask each other

Writing (5-6 minutes)

Teacher will ask Ss to write a Paragraph and as a feedback he will make a gallery walk
