Procedure (35-45 minutes)
-show students picture of friends on acations -elicit the word (arrange) -show students questions and ask them to answer in pairs. -elicit students' answers -give feedback
-tell students that they will listen to Martina , Annie ann Dan making a plan and give instructions ( listen and answer the first question ) -elicit answer. -ask Ss to listen and answer the rest of the questions. -ask Ss to check in pairs -give feedback. -
-give Ss a matching task. -ask Ss to check in pairs -elicit answers and write them on board -highlight sentence stress. -drill.
-tell Ss that they are gonna to ask and answer questions -demo with students. -invite 2 strong students to demo -Ask ICQ (are you gonna write or speak ?) -monitor and make sure students are on task -elicit answers by asking students about what ther partners said -collect some correct and in correct samples -give feedback
-pair the group and tell them that we are going tomake situations and respond to them -model with students -tell Ss that they have to prepare using the useful language and give them time to prepare. -monitor to make sure that students are on task and to give help if needed -allow students to talk together -monitior to collect samples -give feedback.
