In this lesson,ss learn about the Past Perfect Tense through guided discovery in the context of solving riddles. The lesson starts with solving a riddle to find good reasons why some items had been put there. Then, Ss listen to people trying to solve the riddle. T elicits the marker sentence from the listening task, highlights the meaning, form and pronunciation. Finally, there's some controlled practice where ss match sentences using the past perfect. This is followed by a freer practice via solving a puzzle.
