Procedure (42-61 minutes)
T encourages a brainstorming about Indonesia and she fosters the use internet to search about it. Ss write whatever they know or have found about the country on the whiteboard.
T tells a short story about travelling. Later, ss read the questions and listen to the phone call. After peer check and whole class feedback they use the audio to make some predictions about the blog text.
T demonstrates the activity and provides a limited time for scanning. Ss choose the subtitles which are mentioned in the text.
T divides the text into two and pairs ss up. Ss read their part and listen to their partners to learn about the rest of the story. They work together to answer the questions.
Ss work as a group of three to write a short blog text which is similar to the sample. In the end of the group writing, One of the ss read the story while two other ss act it.
