After that, he/she opens the book and says "I open the book." and look the students to do the same thing. When they open the book he/she says "You open the book." Then it continues with the other things. (The chalk is white. The desk is brown. etc.) Then he/she tries the opposite version: a) Is the blackboard black or white? b) The blackboard is not white. c) It is black. The instructor gives a worksheet (attached material-1) out which includes the grammar charts and gives the students 2 minutes to made aware of the grammatical structure. Yes.
The instructor points one of the students and says "Ali reads the book, he takes the chalk and shuts the desk." Then she/he writes this on the board and take the attention on -s with a different color. The instructor shows the rule by conjugating the verb with all the persons.
The instructor continues to conjugate. He/she starts with "go" and then "do". After that he/she shows them how to make a question wit Present Simple Tense. The instructor wants them to try to make questions and opposite sentences with the sentences they said before. a) Do you read? b) You do not take the chalk. c) Does not she shut the desk?
The instructor gives the handout to the students and explains the exercise. They complete together Section A on page 2. Then the instructor separates them into small groups to complete the rest of the exercise together.
The instructor gives a new exercise out and requests to complete it independently. He/she checks the students' answers while they were practicing and helps them if it is necessary.
