Main Aims

  • By the end of the lesson ss will have practiced will and model verbs to make a prediction in the context of life experience.

Subsidiary Aims

  • To practiced making a prediction sentence and use the future form.

Procedure

Lead - in (3-5 minutes) • To generate interest in the them/context of the target language

1- I will mention my thoughts about the future using the target language. 2- I will ask SS about their thoughts . 3- I will ask SS to discuss in pairs What will life be in 2030? 4-Then I will ask two or three ss to tell me their predictions about the future .

Present target language . (5-10 minutes) • To present a target language in a context.

1-Explain who is James Martin. 2-set the task before reading , I will ask ss to read the text and underline 6 predictions, 3- I will ask ss to check their answers in pairs . 4- i will ask one or two about James Martin's predication . 5- I will ask ss to answer ex 1 alone 6-check the activity in pairs 7- if they have the same answers I will give them the Answer key.

Language clarification • To clarify the meaning form and pronunciation of target language
controlled practice (5-10 minutes) • To provide ss with controlled practice of the target language in to encourage accuracy.

1-Set the task and say the instructions . 2- ss are going to work individual. 3- I will ask them to check their answers in pairs . 4- I will ask ss do they agree with it's others

Freer practice (5-8 minutes) • To provide the ss with freer practice of the target language in a more authentic context and promote fluency

1-I will ask ss to compare their opinions in pairs. 2- I will ask if all of them agree with each other opinions.

Feedback (5-8 minutes) • 1-To show interest to wrap the activity up. 2-to highlight examples of good language to correct errors

1-I will ask the ss to choose one of their friend ,sporting events weather or your family and write ten predictions about him/his. 2-iI will ask ss to share their predictions together
