To provide fluency speaking in the context of Everyday activities.
Procedure (42-60 minutes)
-show a video about someone who is talking about his everyday activities. -Ask the Ss about the activities showed in the video. -Listen to some some opinions.
-Ask the Ss to tell their partner (what activities can you see in the picture?). ICQ:You need to write your senrences. No,I want you only to speak. -Divide the Ss into 2 groups. Give each group a group of activities and ask them to stand up,move around the class and try to find the pictures attached to the activities in the paper then stick them on the board.
-Provide a simple clarification of the words that the Ss find them difficult.- -Drill each difficult word. -Ask Ss some CCQs to make sure that they get the meaning .
-Write the 2 sentences (I spend a lot of time)( I donot spend much time) on the board. -Show the difference in meaning between 2 sentences. -Ask the Ss to match the phrases in A with their opposites in B. -Monitor the Ss. -Ask the Ss to check their answers in pairs. -Give Ss feedback. -Ask the Ss (what verb form is used after all of these expressions?).
-Make each 2 students work together. (A)choose 4 activities from the box to ask his partner about. (B)Aswer these questions using the phrases from task 1. ( Extra Activity ) - Divide the Ss into 2 groups . Ask each students to come and choose a card then act the activity in the card to his group.
-Give Ss feedback about the previous task. Thank Ss for coming.
