Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T starts the class by asking some questions about the problems that a workers can face in their working place. Question like: Have you ever had an argument with your CEO? Have you ever tried to solve your employees issues? What can employers do to provide a warm and competitive work place for their employers? ICQ= Are you going to write or talk?(talk) Are you going to give your opinion or say employers opinion?(my opinion)

Pre-Reading/Listening (9-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T writes some sentences on the board which are about issues that employees face in their job and ask the SS to role play as an employer and then as an employee. ICQ= Are you going to read or talk?(talk) Are you going to role play?(yes)

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

T asks ss to open his book and read page 50 to have some information about the reading on page 51. After reading page 50, T asks ss to express his opinion in a short sentence. Then T asks ss to read the article on page 51 really fast and ask this question: Are they satisfied of working ? Name 2 problems that they are dealing with. After reading quickly and answering the question, class will have feedback about the article. ICQ= Are you gong to read or write? Are you going to read slowly or fast?(fast)

While-Reading/Listening #2 (10-13 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

In this stage, S needs to read the text again but this time he needs to read it carefully to answer the questions in part 1. ICQ= Are you going to read fast or slowly?(slowly) After answering, s will have a class feedback.

Post-Reading/Listening (13-18 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned

The book has a writing part so the s needs to write an Email to his CEO, Suggesting to0 reduce stress in the company. Then he will share his Email with the teacher. ICQ= Are you going to read or write?(write) Are you going to write a letter or an Email?(Email) And the last stage is error correction part that teacher provides some errors and writes them on the board and ask s to correct them.
