Lead - in (3-5 minutes) • To get the students engaged and activate their prior knowledge in the topic./ to set the context

I will start the lesson by telling the ss that in my free time I like to do many things . I like to go to the cinema or having dinner in a restaurant but my free time is always at night so I like the activities of the night and the night life .Then I will ask ss to mention some activities that is suitable for night.

Pre -reading (5-10 minutes) • To generate interest in the text and motivate students to read it

I will show the ss a picture to say the meaning of banned and ingredient .then I will use a video to show the meaning of tone deaf and ask ss 'What are they doing?',,,,,,,,,'Do they follow the tone? then I will mime clapping as I am in Amr Diab concert so I will say another word of clapping is applaud. After that I will show up a photo of Amr Diad in the past in a famous song and ask ss in that time all of the men put on this ice cap .so this is a craze (trendy) finally, I will show ss a picture of spa and ask them what is this ?why do we go there? to relax another word of relax is unwind.

While- reading 1 (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist for and specific information.

I will give the students the handout of the reading task and ask them to read quickly and write a suitable title but I will mention that no need to write and understand each word but they have to check the meaning of the text over all . Are you going to read quickly ? Do you need to understand every word ? Then I will ask them to say their titles After that I will ask ss to answer the first ex Ask them to check in pairs their answers. I will ask ss if they have the same answer or I have to answer it with them.

While -reading 2 (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed reading task.

I will ask the ss to read slowly to answer ex no. 3 then I will ask them to check in pairs their answers . After that I will ask Did you have the same answers . Then I will give them the answer key.

Post -reading (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with an opportunity to respond to the text productively in speaking

I will ask ss to work alone and write the answers of ex no. 4 for 3 minutes then I will ask them to discuss their answers together in 5 minutes.
