Description

in this lesson students will learn about the lesson travel guide which it contains many vocabulary that the student have learn it and practice reading for fluency , in this lesson teacher and students will read and find out vocab to explain about it, then students will answer some tasks after reading and understanding the all vocabulary in the text

Main Aims

  • To provide a good clarification of the vocabulary which are in the context of travel guide and give the students the opportunities to discus the meaning

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide gist reading practice using a text

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

to generate students ,to ask them some questions which country you would like to visit

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

give the students the HO . ask the students to read the text . find out the new vocab and discus the text with groups

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

in this stage students have to highlight the new vocabulary such as : alternative , tourist , pretty ,canals , nightlife ask the students CCQs to realize the meaning drilling the words

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

ask the students if they didn't understand anything in the text ask he/she to repeat the vocabulary that they took during the lesson monitoring to check their understanding

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

to provide students with tasks to answer after finish the lesson demonstrate their understanding divide the students into groups to check their answers before participate with the teacher and all the class
