Procedure (37-49 minutes)
To ensure a good learning pace. To keep the lesson as SS centered as possible. To manage the time effectively. To use effective CCQS and ICQS.
I make an activity with the students using flash cards.I ask two of them to come in front of the class, standing back to back and holding a flash card.then they move 3 steps and turn around when i tell them. The one who can say the word first is the winner.Then I choose another two and do it again.
first I explain the lessons on the board and give examples, Then we watch a video related to the topic
I revise the main words they should know and the main information they should remember.
I ask the students individually to choose the word that rhymes with mine.
First part, I apply what they learnt about the first topic( two letters make one sound) by doing 'run to the board' activity. i ask the to go to the board and write a word has two letters making one sound. Second part, by using alphabet cards, students work in pairs to form rhyming words.
In this practice I revise general topics by applying 'pick a color' activity. each student is going to pick a paper and answer the question inside.
