In this lesson students learn how to communicate with their friends , family , and pepole all over the world with different style of communication . Student learn new vocabulary , listen to videos , reading books and how to keep in touch online .

Main Aims

  • It is to provide students about the new style of online communication and it's uses to make their life easy .

Subsidiary Aims

  • Read the passage of ' How do you communicate ' and answer question about it then identify new vocabulary and it's definition.


Warmer/lad-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Ask them to describe their weekend using communication adjective ,show them flash card real tools . Remind the last lesson by some activity .

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text .

Show them the pictures and explain different kinds of communication style . Work in pairs to discuss the lesson and ask question : Is the communication tools are useful or not ? Ask them what's your favorite communication tools ? students should use vocabulary in exercise A in their answer . T ask them to mention new vocabulary and adjectives in exercise 1 and 2 . Connect pictures with vocabulary

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

Read passages . Identify new vocabulary . Summary main ideas in the lesson .

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Show them pictures and ask to describe each one by using flash card . then ask them about the meaning then the different between some words like ( face to face - interviewing ) the difference is in their use in puplic ( face to face ) in private and ( job interview ) then ask them to put the words in sentences ( using simple sentence ) after I write it in the board then select their pronunciation problems when they read . select nouns and verbs . elicit the meaning other vocabulary ( giving opinion - expressing feeling - keeping in touch telling a joke -speaking in puplic - giving a presentation ) . practice and drilling vocabulary on the WB .

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Answer exercise b ( match 1-4 with a-d ) Ss read the passeges and make questions with the words in pairs .

Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Give the students two pictures with older people and younger and ask them to compare between them by using communication problem . practice speaking A .

Free Practice (8-10 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language , play games to correct their answer and appreciate them by feedback

using flash card to practice by give them for ex ( opposite ) . open class feedback .
