Procedure

Warm up • Break the ice

T will greet the Ss

Engage • Grab Ss attention and get the involved

T will show Ss of celebrities from different countries and write on the '' WHERE IS X FROM '' Ss are expected to answer using the name of the countries . T will put what they said in a sentence and urge them to do the same thing, EX '' he is from France''.

Study • Put emphasize on the target language and how it is constructed

The teacher will write two dialogues for the Ss to copy down on their copybooks. The Teacher will rely on two dialogues so as to stress the difference on when the Ss should answer using the Country and when using the City.

Activate • Ss will get the chance to put what they have learnt into practice

Ss will practice the dialogues in pairs The will divide the board into two parts, and will write the names of some countries in one part and the names of their counterpart nationalities in the other part and ask the Ss to match in groups. Teacher will rely on some dis-tractors in the previous exercise
