Main Aims

  • To provide clarification of -ed/-ing adjective in the context of media influence

Subsidiary Aims

  • To provide fluency speaking practice in a discussion

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students using a pic relevant to the topic which is media influence

1-show ss a picture. 2-ask them some questions about it like how can you describe the pic with two sentence. 3-chest the HO1 and let them discuss in pairs if they agree or disagree.

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a listening task

1-ask them to give the sentences numbers according to the audio. 2-ask them to compare their answers.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

1-chest the HO 2 and tell them to answer the 2 questions

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice
