Description

In this lesson, students learn about how to take notes while following instructions in English through a listening activity based on a video about video games, and learn about how to write their own paragraphs through an exercise based on questions about addictions. The lesson starts with a worksheet, about video gaming addiction, in which the students fill in the blanks, in pairs, using the words given. This is followed by an exercise, about video games, in which the students watch three people talking about video games, tick the questions which each person answers, take notes about what each person says, and discuss in groups to answer questions by themselves. Finally, there is an exercise in which the students go online to research about one of the addictions mentioned, take notes about it, and write a paragraph using their notes.
