Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T to tell SS a short anecdote about one of her neighbour ``We used to have a next door neighbour who had around 20 cats living in the same house with her. All of her cats looked huge and splendid.After a while we noticed that the cats and the owner look very alike! And our neighbour looked very proud of that. Her husband always looked serious. He looked like a lawyer or a policeman but we never knew``

Useful Language (12-15 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks

Tt is to show ss some photos online. Tt to elicit some words and then pronunce them and tell ss to repeat after her (Look like, companion, featured) Ask ss how they look like etc. Then Tt is to give an article to ss Then they read it for a few mins. Then the tt to ask ss if they have a pet and even if they dont, would they like to join in such a competition like that. They will share their thoughts for a few mins.

Productive Task(s) (13-15 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

Tt is to tell ss to underline the look and look like words on the article. And tt to ask ss when we use "look" and when we use "look like" Then explains in details/ Then tt to write the exercise and tells students to do it on the whiteboard

Feedback and Error Correction (2-3 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
