TP 1 Reading lesson
To provide practice inreadingfor gist and guessing the meaning of words in the text in the context of stressful daily routines.
To provide practice in speaking in the same context.
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
I will do lead in by telling a real story about my first day in TEFL course.I will be funny.This story is related to the passage.
I will ask them the first question I have (how stresses is louisa and why?).I will give them about 7 minutes for this task then go to the feedback and opening disscussion.
In this stage I will use guessing meaning task to teach them how they can guess the meaning of the highlighted words.I will give them about 8 minutes.
In this stage I will use the third activity it is speaking activity related to the passage.Ss will create about 3 questions from the passage then ask each other. This activity will take about 6 minutes.
In this stage I will divide them into A students and B students,I will give them an speaking activity related to the passage. Students A will ask students B then B ask A.This task will take about 8 minutes.
