Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Teacher makes students watch a video about unusual houses around the world. Teacher asks students to share their thoughts about the unusual houses.
Teacher elicits&pre-teaches potential blocking words by visuals. Teacher asks students to write the words in the correct place on the picture in pairs. Teacher asks students to compare their answers.
Teacher asks students to read the text quickly and tell what the text is about. Then teacher asks students to read the text carefully and answer the questions. Teacher elicits answers.
Teacher asks students to read the text carefully again and answer True/False in pairs. Teacher asks each student to write an answer on the board. Teacher checks answers and do error correction if needed.
1- Teacher asks students to share their ideas about what they like/don't like about Joanne's house. 2- Teacher asks students to talk about their dream houses in pairs.
