Lead-in (5-7 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I'll write "every day" and draw a sun on the board. Then I'll try to elicit some words from the students by the use of hangman game. I'll write these sentences on the board: I _ _ _ _ _ at 7:00. ( get up ) I _ _ _ _ breakfast at 8:00. ( have ) I _ _ to work at 9:00. ( go ) I _ _ _ _ _ my work at 10:00. ( start ) then I'll draw a moon on the board and continue my game. I _ _ _ _ _TV at 8:00. ( watch ) I _ _ to sleep at 10:00. ( go ) - Then they should make sentences about their daily life to the class.

Highlighting (2-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language and clarify the meaning.

- I'll tell them that today we are going to work on simple present, and I write it on the board. - I'll draw a time line on the board and try to draw student's attention to the features of simple present. Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the form and pronunciation of the target language

Controlled Practice (6-9 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

- I'll give the instruction for this activity: * we have 3 groups of cards, the 1st one are subjects, the 2nd one are verbs, the 3rd one are "+" and "-". you should pick one from each group and make a sentence. - And I'll do the first one.

Semi-Controlled Practice (5-7 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

-I'll give the instruction: * I'm going to give you a paper and you have 3 should look at the picture and complete these sentences. you can use positive or negative form of a verb. Free Practice (6-9 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

- I'll tell them that: you have 5 minutes, talk about your daily routine. then I'll give them the second worksheet that helps them to make more sentences. - then they have to talk about their partner. - delayed error correction ( if necessary )
