To provide clarification of relative clauses through eliciting target language from a paragraph about Steve Job's life.

Procedure (35-48 minutes)
The teacher tells students that they are going to watch a video about something related to technology and then he asks them to work in groups and find a suitable title for this short video.
The teacher ask students about what they leaned with the previous teacher about the first computer made by Apple company. He asks them to look at the first sentence of the paragraph and tell him if they can see a pronoun, what kind of pronoun is it? Then he elicit the name "relative pronouns" and also elicit the other relative pronouns. Then he asks to read the paragraph and underline similar sentences with theses pronouns.
The teacher starts clarifying the marker sentences (meaning, form, pronunciation) and how we use the different uses of relative pronouns depending on the antecedent that comes before the relative clause. He can clarify 3 marker sentences and the rest will be given to students in the handouts
Teacher asks students to do the exercise.a on page 95 that is to put the correct the relative pronoun in the blank.
The teacher divides the class into groups of 4 or 5 and gives them cut-out relative clauses to match with the other main clauses depending on meaning and what they learned in the clarification stage.
The teacher gives students a handout that has some questions and main clauses asking students to complete and write relative clauses depending on the meaning they like. It's a freer practice so they can use different sentences and different relative pronouns wherever they want.
The teacher may play this game in case he finished his tasks and still has some time to spend. The teacher sticks relative pronouns on WB and divides students into 3 groups according to their favorite team in Turkey which is something Turkish people really like. They fix 3 lines in front of the WB and T shows them a sentence that misses the relative pronoun. They have to run and catch the correct pronoun before their friends in the other teams so they get 1 point. They lose 1 point if they took a wrong pronoun. :(
