Main Aims

Warmer/Lead-in (1-2 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I use a picture of the new Turkish airport, asking what can you see and if they know about it. i ask if they traveled abroad and where.which airline they prefer. i go through the conversation to the word airport.

Highlighting and clarification (4-6 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

i show them the new vocabulary flash cards one by one electing the words using concept checking questions to clarify the meaning and make sure they understand and nothing makes confusions. Drilling is used to assure pronunciation. I stick the words' written on the board to clarify the spelling.

Controlled Practice (2-3 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

I chest one hand out exercise to give them clear instructions about how to answer. I explain that there are some sentences with gaps need to be filled with the words stuck on the board that is the target language. I give them the handouts answering the first one as an example. i give them 1 minute to answer individually.I walk around monitoring. I ask them to check their answers in pairs. Feedback is given orally.

Free Practice (3-4 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I distribute handout questions with two different colors, asking each student to ask me the given question. I give them short answers clearly. I divide them into two groups. I let them ask each others the questions they have. I walk around monitoring. I open feedback.
