Procedure (36-51 minutes)
The teacher looks sad,elicits the reasons and sets the context,
Give HO1 to the Ss, in pairs and answer the questions.W/c F/B
Introduce the task (design a luxury holiday home). Elicit relevant F/L .Model on the board. CCQs follow. Give Ss HO2.
In pairs, Ss discuss what they should think of if they want to design a luxury holiday home.For F/B,Ss write their ideas on the board.
In groups of 3* - if not possible pairs (depending on the number of the Ss)- Ss perform the task.W/C F/B . As each group talks about their designs,others' task is to listen and decide on the advantages and disadvantages of each plan. ICQs follow. F/B
Make note of the Ss' errors while they are reporting. If necessary, write some errors on the w/b and have ss discuss and correct them. Drill if needed. Try to keep error correction as S-centered as possible.
