Procedure (42-58 minutes)
Tell sts they are at a party. MUSIC. Elicit from sts what people ask Qs about - family / job / free time Elisit some questions. Milling activity - sts talk to as many sts as possible introducing themselves and asking questions. Feedback: report to a partner. Who did you meet at the party?
Give H/O 1. Sts in pairs put the correct verbs in the gaps. Drill some questions - highlight stress
Sts get jumbled sentences. (groups) F/B - write on w/b. Sts practise y/n question and the follow up Qs. 2 lines.
Jazz Chant Sts in two lines perform the jazz chant.
Sts interview each other. Survey. Using prompts. Report back - what do you have in common. We both + verb+ We are both + n / adj.
