In this lesson, sts learn about the way of saying dates. The lesson starts with listening to an examples of saying months and is followed by reading task, then grammer review and practice by speaking

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

_teacher shows students a part of a "friends" series about birthday. _she shows them some photos about seasons and ask them to discribe them in one or two sentences and ask them what is their favourite season

Exposure (10-12 minutes) • To provide a model of the task and highlight useful words and phrases

_listening to track 32 about how they say the dates. _then teacher gives the students a drawing challenge paper. _she asks them to look at the number of their birthdays and ask them to draw it on board. _based on what they draw, students should guess when are their birthdays.

Task (8-10 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills

_teacher form two pairs. _she asks students to read part a of reading in pairs and each pair should answer one question about the paragragh. _then each group say they answers to the class.

Report (4-5 minutes) • To allow students to report on how they did the task and how it went

_she asks students what is their favourite public holiday. _she asks them to do part b and after that she checks the answers.

Language Analysis (6-7 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the task language

_she goes to the grammer part and after completing the chart, she writes the verb forms on the board and asks them to give her an example.

Language Practice (5-6 minutes) • To provide students with practice of the task language

_then she make pairs and gives them a task of speaking and they should choose 2 pictures and write 4 questions.
