In this lesson students will review previous lessons and also learn some new words through watching a video.

To provide review and practice of holiday words in the context of "Diwali celebrations"

To provide fluency speaking practice in a discussion in the context of holidays
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
Short discussion about the holidays we celebrate in our country.
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading/listening
Students will match verbs with the correct phrases and then read the brief information about the programme before watching the video. I will ask some questions to make sure that they've understood.
Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks
Students will watch the video and complete the tasks in order.
Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
Students will speak about their favorite occasion. They will also listen to the tracks and complete the tasks.
Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
I will give feedback for their performance and use of language.
